As part of the Vets Now Colchester you will be working in a private practice with good facilities and an excellent layout. In addition, as our Colchester clinic is one of a number of our clinics that operates a Vets Now Ambulance you will be able to offer your clients a solution to any pet transport issues they may have. Moreover the ambulance team will also be on-hand to assist within the clinic when not on call, consequently offering you an even greater degree of support in your veterinary role.
Working in emergency and critical care means working in a fast paced and exciting role. You will see a varied case load and due to the nature of ECC medicine will never know what to expect on each shift. This atmosphere of challenge will therefore provide you with an excellent platform for growing your veterinary career.
An ideal candidate will have at least two years experience in small animal medicine, however this does not necessarily have to be within ECC as we will provide you with full training to grow your clinical skills. Our on site training programme covers everything from blood transfusion and CPCR to fluid therapy and blood gases. In addition you will also be given a generous CPD allowance as training is central to the Vets Now ethos and your personal development is important to us too!
