Working as a veterinary surgeon within our Birmingham clinic will provide you with an opportunity to further your emergency and critical care skills within our stimulating work environment. Due to the nature of working in emergency and critical care each shift is guaranteed to be unpredictable, regularly seeing cases such as RTAs, caesareans and gastric torsions - making for an exciting and rewarding role.
As part of the clinical team in Birmingham this veterinary role will place you at the forefront of emergency and critical care meaning that your clinical expertise can make a significant difference to pets in an emergency situation. You will of course be given the full support of a generous CPD allowance and on site training programme so whilst you may have only worked in day practice and perhaps the thought of moving into emergency medicine seems a little daunting you can rest assured that you will be given the full support of our clinical team to ensure your skills are continually driven forward. An ideal candidate for this position will have at least two years small animal experience, work well as part of a team and on their own initiative and most importantly have a genuine passion for emergency and critical care medicine!
